March is here (….and almost halfway over!) but I didn’t want to miss an opportunity to share my March goals on the blog. I’m doing this mainly for my own accountability—writing it down (and putting it out there for others to see) is a huge motivator for me. But maybe, this will also encourage you to stay strong in your goals? Remember: we still have 9 months left in the year to accomplish the goals we set!

Goal setting and PowerSheets

I’ve been using PowerSheets by Cultivate What Matters for a little over a year now, and can honestly say that I have become a lot more intentional about setting (and accomplishing!) goals since starting the PowerSheets. I’ve always been a goal-oriented person (I once made a box of Thin Mints last an ENTIRE YEAR because they’re just so good I didn’t want them to end.*), but using the PowerSheets has caused me to slow down and consider why I’m setting each goal. It also helps me visually see the progress I am making, which I love. (Psst: Cultivate What Matters is having a 20% off sale that ends TODAY—go grab a 6-month set of PowerSheets!)

Here are a few of my personal and business goals for March:

Monthly Goals:

  • Have fresh flowers at my desk
  • Solidify several of my business systems
  • File taxes
  • Begin organizing the bookshelves in my office
  • Finish reading 168 Hours by Laura Vanderkam

Weekly Goals:

  • Work out 4 times per week
  • Serve my church well
  • Connect with one friend/student
  • Blog once a week

Daily Goals:

  • Quiet time (I’m reading through the Bible chronologically this year—I found that I’m much more consistent when I have a plan!)
  • Scripture Memory
  • Phone down, eyes up

Tell me: what are some of your goals for this month? Leave a comment below!

Why I use PowerSheets

*Don’t worry—the Thin Mints were kept in the freezer and did not go bad before the 12 months were up. Also, I rationed myself 2-3 cookies a month. It was glorious to open the freezer in September or October, long after everyone else’s Thin Mints were gone, and enjoy a little snack. šŸ˜‰
